Nakuru Principal Magistrate Yvonne Khatambi has sentenced Kevin Matundura and his accomplice Joram Njoroge to death after being convicted of robbery with violence charges.

The court also sentenced Matundura to 7 years imprisonment for being in possession of a firearm and further to 7 years imprisonment for being in possession of ammunition without holding a firearm certificate.
His co-accused was further sentenced to 20 years for rape charges.
While delivering her verdict, Kathambi noted that the two were repeat offenders and hardcore criminals. The prosecution, led by Ms. Rachel Mwangi, proved the cases.
