The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) will, Tuesday, May 14 2024 launch and release its latest Report 2022/2023 annual report on.
The commission said in a statement that the event will take place at its headquarters, Integrity Centre, in Nairobi.
EACC said the Report contains activities it undertook during the reporting period, including the corruption reports received, investigations undertaken, cases recommended to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for prosecution and those completed in court in the financial year 2022/2023.
The Report also contains details of unexplained wealth and corruptly acquired public property recovered from thieves and returned to the public.
Other contents include individuals who had stolen the property, corruption transactions disrupted before execution and details of matters resolved through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
“The Report further outlines the measures taken to promote ethics in the Kenyans society and prevent corruption in the National Government, counties and the private sector,” said EACC.
