The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced that fuel prices will stay the same for the next 30 days, providing a bit of relief for drivers and households facing ongoing economic challenges.
In their latest monthly review, EPRA confirmed that the maximum retail prices for Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene will hold steady from October 15 to November 14, 2025.
In Nairobi, this means Super Petrol will still cost Ksh184.52 per litre, Diesel will be Ksh171.47 per litre, and Kerosene will remain at Ksh154.78 per litre.
“During this review period, the maximum allowed petroleum pump prices for Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene will not change. These prices include a 16% Value Added Tax (VAT), in accordance with the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024, and the updated excise duty rates adjusted for inflation as outlined in Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020,” read the statement.
EPRA also noted that the stable prices reflect a relative steadiness in international petroleum costs during this pricing cycle.
These prices will be in effect until midnight on November 14, 2025, when the next review is anticipated.
