Ex Kenyan Police Director Henry Barmao Is Dead

The former director of operations at Kenya police Henry Barmao has passed on.

Sources from the family indicate that the deceased breathed his last at a Nairobi hospital on December 27.

He was battling liver complications.

Before retiring last in April 2020, the officer served as the director of operations at the Vigilance House, Kenya Police headquarters, Nairobi.

Prior to moving to the headquarters, he had served as an instructor at Kenya Police College in Kiganjo. He was also a drilling expert.

He will be remembered for his dedication to duty and his no-nonsense approach to the fight against crime.

“The deceased’s outstanding service as a police officer will remain a source of inspiration and motivation to us,” read part of the statement released by the National Police Service.
