Police in Kenya are pursuing a 21-year-old woman alleged to have procured an abortion and dumped her foetus in a pit trine in Eldoret, Kenya’s Rift Valley.
The foetus was discovered by public members who alerted the police, who responded and retrieved it from the latrine.
The foetus’s body was taken to the morgue pending investigations.
