Five shortlisted for the position of IEBC CEO

Five candidates have been shortlisted for the post of CEO at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

The commission said the five were selected from 511 applications.

They include Marjan Hussein Marjan, acting CEO, Nancy Kariuki Wanjiku, Dr Joel Mabonga, Zephaniah Aura Okeyo, Dr George Kamau Michigan, as well as Dr Marjan Hussein Marjan.

They will be grilled on March 8, 2022, at the Commission's headquarters in Nairobi.

Also, among the 860 applicants for the role of Deputy CEO, ten other candidates have also been shortlisted for the position.

They are Nuno Roble Said, Obadiah Keitany Kipkoech, Ibrahim Osman Hassan, Naisiae Tobiko Paloshe, Nelly Ilongo, Joyce Ekuam Narumbe Idumu, Fredrick Riaga Ogalo, Simon Cheruiyot Kiplangat, Ruth Kulundu Songa Khatievi and John Muhia Mwangi.

The interviews for Deputy Commission Secretary/Deputy CEO will be held on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th March, 2022.
