The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League will resume this weekend after an international break.

The league took a break on September 4 to enable players to present their countries in the Afcon qualifiers and international friendly matches.

However, the teams will be locking horns to maintain or improve their performance in the league, which enters its 3rd week.

Last season’s runners-up, Tusker, will square it with Kakamega Homeboyz. At the same time, newcomers Shabana will host Police FC at the Raila Odinga on Saturday.

On the same day, the 12th time Kenya Premier League winners AFC Leopards will host Muhoroni Youths. Ulinzi Stars will travel to Mombasa to take Bandari, while Nzoia Sugar will lock horns with Bidco United.

On Sunday, Posta Rangers will lock horns with Sofapaka in early kick-off while Kariobangi Sharks and KCB have their fixtures at 3:15 EAT.

The current league leaders, Murang’a Seal, will entertain Talanta FC, and the defending champions, Gor Mahia, will play against Nairobi City Stars.
