Four Killed In Road Accident In Kericho

Four people have been confirmed dead and 46 others injured after a bus they were travelling in involved in an accident along the Kipsitet-Muhoroni road in Kericho County, Kenya's Rift Valley.

The bus driver was reported to have lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the road, rolling several times.

Among those who died were three women and one man.

The bus driver escaped after the accident, and police are currently looking for him.

Police have implored motorists to take precautions to prevent the loss of lives on roads.

"The driver of the bus escaped and we are looking for him. We appeal to PSV drivers to take precautions and ensure safety of the passengers," said Kericho County Police boss Rico Ngari.
