Four People Found In Possession Of Elephant Tusks Arrested

Four people are being held behind the bar after they were found possessing 15 pieces of elephant tasks in Wangige, Kiambu County, Central Kenya.

The suspects were apprehended on Saturday night following an operation by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) officers.

They include Daniel Musembi Kimilu, Michael Kimeru Karanja, Charles Njomo Okwach and Jane Wangui Kiarie.

Police are interrogating the suspects pending arraignment in court.
