Four Perish In Namanga-Kajiado Road Crash

A grisly road accident occurred at Namanga-Kajiado Road, South of Nairobi, on Sunday night.

The accident involved a personal car and a 14-seater taxi. It occurred when the latter was trying to overtake the former.

The car was reported to have hit a donkey and swerved off the road before getting into a ditch by the roadside. The taxi also hit the donkey.

Four people died in the crash, including an eight-month-old baby and the taxi driver. The deceased died on the spot, said the police.

Those injured had been taken to Kajiado Referral Hospital for treatment, while the deceased were transferred to City Mortuary in Nairobi.
