Kenyan Premier League side Sofapaka FC has confirmed Francis Harigingo as the club’s new coach.
The management said the former Rayon Sports coach signed a two-year deal with the club.
He will be deputized by his Burundian compatriot Pablo Nduwimana.
Harigingo will succeed former coach David Ouma who has taken a new role as sporting director.
Sofapaka also unveiled their new signings ahead of the 2023/2024 season.
Following a lacklustre performance last season, the team has signed 17 new players to strengthen its squad.
The new signings are Khalid Jumaan (Mathare United), Oliver Maloba (Nairobi City Stars), Baron Ochieng (Kibera Black Stars), Darius Msagha (Bandari FC), Ian Simiyu (Nzoia Sugar FC), Christian Lubulu (Kibera Blackstars), John Ndirangu (Police FC), Abdul Razak Fiston (Sur FC), and Mousa Omar (Dagenham & Redbridge FC).
Others are Answar Shamuni (Harambee Sand Stars), Lucky Mrabu (Harambee Sand Stars), Andre Kalama (Kibera Black Stars), Jacob Osano (Nairobi City Stars), Stephen Otieno (Kakamega Homeboyz), Edwin Lutta (AFC Youth), Branlline Masibo (Mathare United), Daniel Otieno (Mathare United)
