Graduate degree holders cadets report for training at the Kenya military academy

Successful candidates for the General Service Officer (GSO) – Graduate Degree Holders cadets on Sunday, January 16, 2022, reported for training at the Kenya Military Academy.
The cadets were selected during the KDF country wide recruitment in November 2021.
While at the Academy they will undergo 12 months of foundational military training before reporting to their respective units and bases for further specialized training and deployment.
The recruits comprise of the General Duty recruits, Tradesmen/women, all drawn from the 47 counties of Kenya.
During the document verification exercise, 57 recruits with counterfeit calling letters were apprehended and handed over to the National Police Service for due process.
