Grisly Accident On Nairobi-Mombasa Highway Injures Four

An accident on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway on Thursday morning caused severe injuries to four people.

A truck and a government vehicle were both involved in the accident, which occurred near Makindu.

Confirming the incident, Makueni County Police Commander Joseph Ole Napeiyan said the truck was overtaking the Ministry of Agriculture vehicle when it collided head-on with it.

The truck was on its way to Nairobi, Napeiyan said.

Napeiyan stated that the two men and two women who were injured have since been transported to Makindu Hospital, where they are currently receiving medical attention.
