Detectives from the Homicide department based have taken over investigations into the death of 23-year-old Jeff Mwathi from Kasarani police station.
This follows a directive by the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Mr Mohamed Amin, for the expeditious investigation into the young man’s death.
“The public is assured that no stone shall be left unturned in the investigation of this case and any person found to have been involved in the death shall face the full force of the law,” said the DCI.
Meanwhile, anyone with information about the case has been asked to volunteer it to the head of Homicide at DCI headquarters.
Mwathi died in a house belonging to a local musician Lawrence Njuguna Wagura’s house alias Dj Fatxo under mysterious circumstances.
It was reported that the deceased fell from Dj Fatxo’s 10th-floor apartment along Thika Road, outskirts of Nairobi.
