Four people were killed on Sunday and several injured following a fatal road accident along Eldoret-Nakuru road, Kenya’s Rift Valley.
The accident involved a 14-seater vehicle, locally known as Matatu, and a bus.
Police reports indicated that the Matatu’s driver lost control of the vehicle before colliding head-on with an oncoming 60-seater bus.

The four, including the driver and three passengers, died on the spot, and nine others were seriously injured.
The injured were rushed to Eldama Ravine Hospital, where they currently receive treatment.
The bodies of the deceased were transferred to the morgue.
All road users have been urged to exercise extreme caution, especially during the festive season when Kenyans travel across the country to be with their families.
