An enraged crowd killed two accused thieves in Migori town, southeastern Kenya, on Thursday morning.
According to reports, one of the deceased hired a motorcycle rider to carry him to an unknown destination, but along the way, he turned against the rider and his accomplice, who was close.
However, attempts to rob the rider were foiled when surrounding locals responded to the victim’s shouts.

The accused then sought to run, but they were cornered by the angry mob who landed on them with blows and kicks, killing them on the spot.
The rider sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Meanwhile, the suspects’ bodies have been moved to the mortuary pending investigations.
