Team Kenya has bagged two more gold medals, a silver and a bronze, in the ongoing Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Organisation (EAPCCO) games in Rwanda.
Gladys Kwamboka and Tyson Malel won gold medals in the 10,000m women and 10,000m men, respectively.

Sandra Peris Chebet finished second in the 10,000m women’s race, pocketing the silver medal ahead of an Ethiopian who came in third could snatch it.
In men’s Discus, Gilbert Koech came in third to take a bronze medal home behind his compatriot Melel and a Tanzanian.
The showpiece kicked off on March 21, 2023. Eight Nations from the region are participating in this year’s edition, whose theme is ‘Fostering Police Cooperation in fighting international organized crime through sports’.
