The National Police Service (NPS) team representing Kenya at the ongoing East Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation (EAPCCO) games in Kigali-Rwanda continues to register impressive results.

On Thursday, at Bugesera stadium, the NPS athletics team dominated the podium; Edwin Bett cruised to victory, winning gold in the men’s 10,000m race as his compatriot Joseph Kiptum grabbed the second spot.

More medals trickled in as Martha Musai and Damacline Nyakiruri grabbed the first and third spots in the javelin throw.

The NPS team now command the medal tally with five gold, three Silver and two Bronze medals.

Meanwhile, it is all system-go for the NPS shooting team as the NPS marksmen and women battle it out for the best shot against other elite marksmen and women from the region of the Counter Terrorism Training Center (CTTC) Mayange shooting range.
