Corporal Irene Ndunda from Kenya Army emerged as the overall winner in the Open Division Ladies Category. At the same time, Corporal Muchiri Agatha from Kenya Airforce won in the Production Division Ladies Category.

The primary purpose of the championship was to sharpen shooting skills, enhance self- defence, and promote safe handling of weapons.

IPSC is the world's largest shooting sport association, where competitions are held with pistols, revolvers, rifles, and shotguns. Competitors are divided into different divisions based on firearm and equipment features.

The Confederation aims to promote, maintain, and improve the sport of practical shooting.
