Kenya’s Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) this week hosted a delegation from the Anti-Corruption Commission of Zambia (ACC), which is in the country on a bench-marking visit.

The delegates were received on Monday by the Commission’s leadership led by Chairperson David Oginde.

The Zambian team, led by ACC Board Chairperson Musa Mweneya, hopes to benefit from EACC anti-corruption strategies such as high-impact investigations, asset recovery, prevention, ethical promotion, and inter-agency collaboration.

As part of asset recovery experience sharing, EACC took the Zambian delegation to visit the affordable housing project in Mukuru, Nairobi.

The houses are being constructed on land valued at over Ksh5 billion ($33 million), which EACC recovered from grabbers through a court process.
