The Kenya Lionesses, Kenya’s national women’s rugby sevens team, are preparing to compete in the Rugby Africa Women’s 7s Tournament.
The showpiece will take place in Tunisia on October 14-15, 2023.
“Their rigorous training regimen includes strength and conditioning exercises by Geoffrey Onyango skill enhancement drills ,intense practice matches courtesy of assistant coach Paul Murunga.The management is backed up by experienced team manager Camilyne Oywayo and Levyce Kituyi as the physiotherapist,” said Kenya Rugby Union.
The Rugby Africa Women’s 7s Tournament is set to be very competitive, with teams from all around the continent competing for the title.
The winner will be eligible to compete in the Olympics in Paris in 2024.
