Kenya Lose To Zambia In The 2023 Netball World Qualifiers

Kenyan Women's Netball team lost 46-30 to Zambia in the 2023 Netball World Cup qualifiers opener in Pretoria, South Africa.

In the other games, Namibia defeated Tanzania 54-40, while hosts South Africa defeated Botswana 60-37.

Zimbabwe is set to play Botswana while hosts South Africa take on Namibia, and Malawi faces Eswatini today.

Apart from South Africa, the top two teams in the tournament will qualify for next year's World Cup.

South Africa and Uganda have already qualified for the Netball World Cup, which will be held in Cape Town next year. Uganda has decided not to participate in the qualifiers, but South Africa will serve as the host.

Kenya will face Malawi tomorrow in another Group B match.
