The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has given Kenya a nod to host the inaugural CECAFA Women’s Champions League showpiece.
The tournament will bring together ten clubs within the Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA).
It will run between July 17, 2021, and August 1, 2021.
All matches will be played in two Kenyan stadiums, Nyayo and Moi International Sports Centre (MISC) Kasarani.
Vihiga Queens, the 2019 Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Women Premier League champions, will represent Kenya.
The showpiece will represent the CECAFA region in the CAF Women Champions League.
