The Kenya Quick Reaction Force 1 (KENQRF1) Contingent on Sunday, September 4, 2022, successfully handed over to KENQRF2 in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
During the handover ceremony, KENQRF1 Contingent Commander Colonel Abdi Galgalo handed the Kenyan flag to KENQRF2 Commander Lieutenant Colonel David Munoru.
The Kenyan Contingent is part of the Force Intervention Brigade of the United Nations Stabilisation Mission in the DRC, MONUSCO.
