Kenya Railways has announced additional Madaraka Express Passenger Service trips on Friday, November 14th, and Saturday, November 15th, 2025, to accommodate the growing number of passengers travelling along the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) during this period.
Kenya Railways Expands Its Services
In a public announcement, the corporation explained that this decision comes in response to the rising demand for travel between Mombasa and Nairobi.
These additional trips are set to make travel more convenient and ensure a smooth journey for thousands of travellers along this bustling route.
On Friday, November 14th, the service will leave Mombasa at 9:45 a.m., arrive in Voi at 11:21 a.m., depart again at 11:26 a.m., and finally reach Nairobi at 1:48 p.m.
Then, on Saturday, November 15th, the return trip will set off from Nairobi at 9:45 a.m., arrive in Voi at 1:35 p.m., leave Voi at 1:36 p.m., and get back to Mombasa by 3:56 p.m.
