The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) on Monday announced the rollout of the Revenue Service Assistants (RSAs) program.
The program aims to facilitate online trading business registration, verify taxpayer details, and support compliance with Tax Invoice Management System (TIMS) and eTims regulations.
It will also support compliance with excise regulations and data protection.
The Revenue Service Assistants are expected to provide onsite facilitation to taxpayers nationwide.
They must have their KRA staff identification cards and uniforms for easy identification.
“
Additionally, the public can authenticate the staff details through USSD *572#, or use KRA Thibitisha, available on the KRA website: www.kra.go.ke or through the KRA Mservice App,” said KRA.
Meanwhile, KRA has invited the public to connect with the RSAs and tell them how they can help.
