Kenya will know their opponents in the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
The draw will take place in the Dominican Republic from 12:30 am EAT.
Kenya attained a massive milestone by securing their debut appearance on the international level after defeating Ethiopia 3-0 and Burundi 5-0.
Kenya, Nigeria, and Zambia will represent Africa in the eighth edition of the U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The 16 participating teams will be divided into four groups of four. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals.
Kenya has been placed in Pot 4 alongside Korea Republic, Poland and Ecuador.
Pot 1 has the Dominican Republic, Spain, Japan, and Korea DPR, while Pot 2 features Brazil, the USA, Mexico and New Zealand.
Nigeria is in Pot 3 alongside Colombia, England and Zambia.
