On Tuesday, James Gakara, a Kenyan doctor suspected of murdering his two children before attempting suicide and dying in hospital, was laid to rest.
Gakara and his two children Dylan 5, and Karuana, 3, were buried at their rural home in Gilgil, central Kenya.
He was interred in one grave while the two children shared a grave.

On September 18, Gakara is suspected of injecting insulin into his children at their Nakuru home, northwest of Nairobi.
Police who broke into the house discovered him unconscious after he used the same drug on himself.
He died on September 22 in the hospital.
