A 48-year- old man is facing murder charges after he found another man with his wife on their matrimonial bed and killed him on the spot.
Samuel Musungu, a casual labourer in Runda, a suburb in Nairobi, had returned home in neighbouring Githogoro settlement unannounced, only to find the deceased in the act.
In a fit of rage, Musungu reached for a piece of rock and hit the 40-year-old man at the back of his head, killing him on the spot.
The commotion attracted curious neighbours and elders who rushed to the scene, but it was too late to save the man’s life.
He was later identified as Nashon Mudovi,40, equally a casual labourer in the affluent Runda neighborhood.
“It’s something out of a horror movie,” stunned elder Chairman Richard Wamalwa said.
Detectives based at DCI Gigiri and the duty officer Runda rushed to the scene and launched a manhunt for Musungu, who was arrested hours later.
