Kenyan Teams Set To Leave For Tokyo, Japan, On July 8

The National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOCK-K) has announced the travel schedule for team Kenya that will participate in this year's Olympics competition in Tokyo, Japan.

According to NOCK-K, the teams will travel in batches ahead of the showpiece slated for July 23-August 7.

The national women volleyball team, Malkia Strikers, will be the first team to depart, with the first batch set to leave on Thursday, July 8, 2021. The second batch will join them at Karume City on July 9.

Malkia Strikers will be followed by the men’s rugby team, with the first group departing on July 9 and the second a day later.

The women's rugby team will leave for the games on July 11-12, followed by sprinters on July 13, and then Taekwondo, Beach Volleyball, Boxing, and Swimming.

All athletes are set to depart the country between July 23-27 in six phases.
