Kenya’s U-20 team popularly known as Rising Stars touched down in Egypt on Monday, April 21, 2025, ahead of the CAF Under-20 AFCON which will kick off on May 27.
The 25-man squad landed in the Northern African nation under the tutelage of head coach Salim Babu.
Kenya was drawn in Pool B alongside Morocco, Nigeria and Tunisia.
Salim Babu’s charges will kick off the tournament with a match against Morocco on May 1 before meeting Tunisia 2 days later.

The final group match will be against Nigeria on May 7.
Meanwhile, the host Egypt were pooled in Group A, where they will play Zambia, Sierra Leone, South Africa and Tanzania.
The defending champions Senegal are drawn in Group C alongside the Central African Republic, DR Congo, and Ghana.
