A 45-year-old man was lynched by the mob on suspicion of killing his wife in Migori County, southwestern Kenya.
Erick Otieno was battered to death on Wednesday morning on allegations of murdering his wife, who was six months pregnant.
According to the local authorities, Otieno was caught at his hiding location by the mob, who then assaulted him to death.
The investigations to reveal the truth is ongoing.
Meanwhile, the public has been urged to seek amicable ways of solving their differences instead of killing each other.
The bodies were taken to the morgue pending autopsy.
