The multi-agency security team in Marsabit, Eastern Kenya, continues to record great success in accomplishing its objective of restoring security and lasting peace in the area.

On June 28, 2022, the security team recovered thirty-nine cattle that had earlier been reported to have strayed from their grazing fields in Matalana Area.

The successful recovery resulted from close collaboration between the multi-agency team and the elders from Shurr Location.

“We commend all the communities for their immense support and urge them to embrace peaceful initiatives in solving conflicts and continue sharing information through the Community Policing and nyumba Kumi mechanisms for the enhancement of security in the area,” said the police.
