The multi-agency team was comprised of National Police Service, Kenya Red Cross, Kiambu Fire Department and St John’s Ambulance.
The disaster Response Unit works with other disaster management agencies during such incidences to protect and save lives as mandated under the Kenya Defence Forces’ secondary role.©Standard Gazette, 2021.
