Multi-Agency Security team holds security meeting with Laikipia residents
The Multi-Agency Security Command Team in Laikipia County, Kenya’s Rift Valley, held a successful security meeting with residents of Lobere and Karia-Ini Villages in Kirima Sub County on Wednesday, 19th January 2022.
The security team interacted with the residents and noted with great satisfaction that social economic activities that include; learning, trade, transport and farming are going on uninterrupted.
The locals appreciated the Multi-Agency Security Team and expressed their contentment with the security measures put in place so far.
They requested for the extension of the trench, rehabilitation of roads to enhance accessibility and recruitment of additional National Police Reservists in the area.
At the same time, the Multi-Agency Team thanked the residents for their continuous support by providing invaluable information through the Nyumba Kumi Initiative and Community Policing Mechanisms, resulting in enhancement of security and a surge of development activities.
“We urge you to remain calm and promptly report any suspicious persons or activities within their neighborhoods to Security and Administrative Officers for immediate action,” residents were told.
