Multi-Agency Security Team Recovers Lost Livestock In Marsabit

The Multi-Agency security team in Marsabit, Eastern Kenya, has recovered eight cattle which had earlier been reported lost by residents of the Jaldesa area.

This successful recovery resulted from the collaboration between the multi-agency security team and the residents of the Shurr Location led by their elders.

The security team is engaging all the communities to sensitize them on the importance of branding their livestock for ease of identification whenever livestock is stolen or strays away from the grazing fields.

In addition, the local administration officers are in the process of organizing a peace march from Marsabit Town to Hawaye in North Horr to mobilize residents to support the ongoing peace process in the county.
