MWAK Mentors RTS Recruits At Moi Barracks

Last week, the Military Wives Association of Kenya (MWAK) held a mentorship session for recruits at the Recruits Training School (RTS) in Moi Barracks Eldoret.

Hosted by the Commandant Recruits Training School Brigadier Paul Njema, the recruits were taken through various facets of life, including family, marriage, relationships, personal development, career, finance, and spirituality, among other topics.

Addressing the recruits, MWAK Chairperson Mrs. Tabitha Kibochi emphasized the importance of creating a family-centric unity by ensuring military families of serving, retired widows and orphans are well taken care of.

On spirituality, the guest speaker, Colonel (Fr) George Maingi, emphasized the need to have a plan, vision, patience, prayerfulness and persistence in one’s undertakings and make the right choices in life for prosperity.

Eldoret chapter MWAK member, Mrs. Catherine Njema, congratulated the recruits for their endurance and courage throughout their training and wished them well in their upcoming Passing Out Parade.
