The Directorate of Corporate Communication in the National Police Service has received and welcomed new members of staff.

The three officers, Inspector Dominic Kipchumba, Inspector Elizabeth Gathoni and Inspector Ashraf Hassan Yusuf are highly skilled and talented media practitioners who joined the National Police Service as Direct Entry Inspectors (DEIP).

They are part of the cohort of 298 direct entry specialists cadets who graduated at the National Police College Main Campus – Kiganjo early this year.

They will be very instrumental in advancing NPS’s media agenda that is geared towards creating a responsive, professional and people-centred policing service through community partnership and upholding rule of law for a safe and secure society.

While welcoming the new officers, the National Police Service Spokesperson and Director of Corporate Communication Mr Bruno Shioso, OGW urged them to perform their duties with the utmost professionalism, honesty, and integrity.

The officers promised to remain committed and deploy their intellect and inventiveness hence providing the necessary impetus to propel the directorate to new heights of success.

“We wish them well as they perform this noble and onerous duty,” said Bruno Shioso.
