Open Capital, in partnership with World Vision’s Inuka Angaza Program, on October 25 donated textbooks and reference materials to Mathare North Primary School.

This marks a pivotal moment for the school after severe mid-year floods wreaked havoc in the institution.

The massive rains had seriously damaged the school, washing away textbooks and learning supplies and impeding the education of hundreds of kids.

The donation is part of the larger Inuka Angaza Program, which focuses on empowering underprivileged communities and ensuring children have access to quality education despite obstacles.

“A big thank you to Open Capital for donating textbooks to Mathare North Primary School after floods destroyed essential learning materials. Together through our National resource development program, we’re helping these students get back to learning,” said World Vision.

World Vision’s Inuka Angaza Program has been actively involved in the Mathare community, implementing various activities to enhance the well-being of children and families.

The organization’s engagement in the contribution is consistent with its purpose to protect and empower children, particularly those afflicted by natural disasters and other hardships.
