A Kenya pastor was on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, arraigned in court and charged with defiling a six-year-old girl.

The man in cloth is said to have committed the offence on March 25 at Nairobi’s Kawangware estate.

A report presented in court showed that the girl was playing with her friend when the accused person gave the friend some cash to go and buy biscuits.

The African Green Cross Apostle Church’s pastor then called her to his house, locked the door before defiling her. After the act, he gave her some money not to tell anybody.

The minor left with the accused house and on her way home experienced walking difficulties. Fortunately, she was rescued by two boys who then raised an alarm.

The man of God was then arrested and detained in police custody.

He died the charges and was released on cash bail.
