Football Kenya Federation Premier League side Kakamega Homeboyz have appointed Patrick Odhiambo as its head coach.
Odhiambo takes over from John Baraza, who was fired last week over a series of dismissal performances.
Former Bandari and Nzoia Sugar coach Ibrahim Shikanda will deputize him.
''We are bringing in a new set of coaches with a wealth of experience. Coach Patrick has been with us before, and we believe alongside Ibrahim Shikanda and Jeffers Odongo, they will turn things around," said the club Chairman Cleophas Shimanyula.
Odhiambo temporarily worked as Kakamega Homeboyz's assistant coach at the start of the 2020–21 campaign before departing in May 2021 to join Biashara United in the Tanzanian Premier League (TPL).
His appointment comes a month after the Police FC sacked him.
He has also worked as an assistant coach at Gor Mahia.
Kakamega Homeboyz is currently 8th in the log with 21 points, ten behind league leaders Nzoia Sugar.
