Detectives in Lungalunga, Kwale county, have launched a manhunt for cold-blooded robber(s) who yesterday invaded the home of an 87-year-old woman at Mwololo village and, just for her goat, murdered her.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said that the village chairperson reported the abominable incident.
The elderly woman was found lying dead on her bed with multiple cuts suspected to have been inflicted by a machete, and her only goat stolen by yet-to-be-identified violent robbers.
“Detectives based at Lungalunga have since taken over the matter, and are jointly with Mwereni location authorities combing the area for leads to her killers,” said DCI.
