A female police officer was murdered in Mashuuru, Kajiado Central, Nairobi’s South.
The officer attached to Emali SGR Station was stabbed to death by an unknown suspect on Wednesday night.
Reports indicated that the suspect stabbed the deceased in the neck and the face with a sharp object before he fled the scene.
The incident took place in the officer’s house.
The public members reported the crime to the police after their efforts to arrest the suspect did not bear fruit.
The officer’s body was moved to the mortuary pending investigations.
Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt for the suspect.
