Police Recover Illegal Firearms In Baringo

A multi-agency security team has recovered illegal firearms and ammunitions in Baringo, Kenya’s Rift Valley.

The officers covered the weapons following a raid conducted at a home.

They recovered one AK 47 Rifle and one magazine loaded with 27 rounds of ammunition.

They also recovered a wire mesh suspected to have been stolen from Chinese Road Construction Company from the same home.

Elsewhere, police arrested two notorious muggers who have been terrorizing residents of the Kariobangi estate in Nairobi.

During the arrest, police recovered assorted mobile phones, some of which were dismantled, one portable electronic scale, and two handbags, all suspected to have been stolen.
