Police have seized 65 cartons containing illicit brew in Mlolongo, Machakos County, Kenya’s lower eastern.

According to the police report, the brew was found in a vehicle abandoned at a petrol station in the Athi River area.

It is suspected the vehicle’s driver had sighted the police presence before leaving the vehicle at the station.

The 65 unlabelled cartons each contain 20 bottles of 250m labelled as “Starlight Vodka”.

Police have launched the manhunt of the driver.
