Police Shine Over Wazito FC

Reading Time: 1 minute

Kenya Police FC on Thursday picked a massive victory over Wazito FC in a Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League match staged at the Kasarani Annex football pitch in Nairobi.

In the exciting encounter, the Kenya Police FC, which has previously posted impressive results, continued with its winning streak picking a win in the game in an emphatic fashion against a struggling Wazito FC.

After a slow but steady start, the Police broke the deadlock after 19 minutes when Marvin Nabwire scored the first goal for the team.

Nineteen minutes later into the game, the Police doubled their tally through Duke Abuya after he finished off a swift counterattack with a precise kick, sending the ball whirling straight into the opponent's net.

At some point, Wazito appeared to gain control of the game, but Elvis Rupia's goal in the 42nd minute dashed their hope.

In the second half, the Police maintained the lead by strengthening its defence while being lethal with their strikes, and at stoppage time, their strategy paid off! Leslie Otieno powered home a beautiful header sealing a 4-0 win for the team.

Meanwhile, Police FC will face Kariobangi Sharks on January 8.
