Police shot four people in Nakuru, northwest of Nairobi, during the anti-government demonstrations on Wednesday.
The injured protestors were rushed to Nakuru Referral Hospital for treatment.
A doctor at the facility revealed to us that two of the four victims were shot in the abdomen, 1 in the chest and the remaining in the leg.
Earlier, two people were shot in Migori County, southwestern Kenya. One person was shot in the leg and the other in the thigh.
Business activities, learning and transportation, were paralysed in the country following the anti-government protests that rocked various parts of the country.
Kenyans took to the streets to protest against the high cost of living which resulted from punitive tax measures.
The angry protestor barricaded roads, lit bonfires and engaged police in running battles the entire day.
Protests are to continue on Thursday and Friday, according to the earlier communication from the opposition leaders.
