A section of the Nairobi Expressway has been temporarily closed as a result of the ongoing anti-government protests across the country.
In a statement, the Moja Expressway company said the services have been stopped at Mlolongo, Syokimau and SGR Toll Stations.
“We regret to inform you that a section of the Nairobi Expressway toll services have been temporarily halted at Mlolongo, Syokimau and SGR Toll Stations due to the ongoing demonstrations,” said Moja Expressway.

Those heading to Westlands have been asked to join the road from JKIA Toll Station.
An angry group of d emonstrators was seen vandalizing a fence and road rails constructed at the road stretch and setting fire to several tires.
Efforts are underway to restore normalcy to the road.
