Relieve as Fuel Prices Decrease by Ksh7 Per Litre

The Kenyan government has reduced the fuel price by Ksh7 per litre.

In the latest monthly price review, the Energy Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) said the prices for Super Petrol will decrease by Ksh.7.21, Diesel by Ksh.5.09 and Kerosene by Ksh.4.49.

The new prices are effective from midnight on March 15th to April 14th, 2024.

As a result, the price of petrol in Nairobi will rise to Ksh199.15 per litre, diesel to Ksh190.38 per litre, and kerosene to Ksh188.

“The prices are inclusive of the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2020 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020,” said EPRA.
