Kenya supports the efforts of the UN Secretary-General António Guterres to establish a system where governments work together to achieve global goals, said President Ruto.

According to him, effective multilateralism will ensure equity in resource allocation, security, and participation in decision-making.

Kenyan Head of State noted that the ongoing talks about climate change and regional security are so important that they call forthrightness and commitment.

"The conversation about a new world order is real. We have a similar discourse in Kenya about climate change and its effects. We must all engage in this talk," said President Ruto.

The President said this on Wednesday when he met members of the UN High-Level Advisory Board on Effective Multilateralism led by Former President of Liberia Ellen Johnson Sirleaf at State House, Nairobi.
